“Katie, as a character, does seem to be very popular with the readers. She turns nine near the beginning of the first book, so she seems to be growing up a bit every day.
Katie has a good sense of humor and she’s always interested in something. She’s friendly, she likes people, and likes to help them. She’s also got a good, kind and loving heart, but she’s a pretty tough cookie. She’s quite practical and unafraid, and she waits to panic until there is no other choice!”
